New Orleans Lakefront ( in progress)

This  new New Orleans Painting of Lakeshore Drive New Orleans,  with an iconic New Orleans lakefront bench in distance, is painted from  source photo ( also shown). As in the source photo, in this in progress painting, future posts will show the bench as distant object with foreground grass blades being the main focus of painting

Its really fascinating to me to see how you gradually move from the large shapes and shadows to the finer details. Thanks for posting the steps you go through as you create your art. I love this composition. Can;t wait to see what you do with it next!

As you might glean from the various paintings posted, I am very much torn from the need to alternate different styles and genres,and thus different processes. I am very anxious to produce much more in the way of landscapes, portraits, still lifes.
