The Marsh Painting,16 x 20 on canvas
More layers and new work on foreground.
Additional layers to follow and decision as to whether or not to include the egret in this painting, or just start another painting ,
as the storm in this piece has taken over as the focal point.
The decision was made to go forward with Egret .

Marsh
The background to the marsh painting is nearly completed.
I have revised it to include details of the cumulonimbus thunderstorm clouds, clustered in the distance.
The far end of the clouds from this vantage point fade into the distance near the horizon.
The beveled look to the horizon is not actually painted that way.
Will adjust and correct to true view in the in the image software at next posting.

Lake Pontchartrain
Decided to take the Lake Pontchartrain painting to a whole new level.
I've added waves in the foreground, which then necesitated adjustments to the background, reflective
more of a churning lake, underneath breezy conditions.
